Ingredients
1 1/2 kg Pork
2 table spoons raw white rice and 2 table spoons shredded coconut
2 tea spoons red chillie powder
2 tea spoons cummin / coriander roasted powder
1 sprig of lemon grass
4 pods garlic
Small piece of ginger
1 tea spoon black pepper powder
2 pieces of goraka
Salt to taste
Method
In a pan, roast the raw white rice and shredded coconut until blackened (Kalu Pol). Then grind it to a fine powder using a grinder (or Mortar and pestle).
Cut Pork into small cubes. Ground ginger, lemon grass, garlic and goraka to a smooth paste and add it to the Pork cubes. Add red chillie powder, cummin / coriander roasted powder, black pepper powder, salt and mix well. Cook for about 20 minutes. Then add roasted ground coconut and white rice (Kalu Pol). Close it and keep in a low flame for another 10 minutes.
