CHINESE FRIED RICE

















INGREDIENTS

  • 6 cups cooked rice (long grain rice)
  • 3 bacon strips
  • 1 egg
  • 1 carrot
  • 4 green onions
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 100g shrimp
  • 1 cup cooked green peas
  • 2 Tbsp peanut oil or cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper


METHOD

  1. Finely dice bacon, fry until crisp, drain.
  2. Beat egg with fork, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the small oil in a frying pan.
  4. Pour egg mixture to make a omelet.
  5. Remove omelet from pan, slice into thin strips.
  6. Cut green onions, carrots, and shrimp into small pieces.
  7. Heat large pan in a heat add oil and sautginger for about 10 seconds.
  8. Add green onion, bacon, carrots, and shrimp, sautfor about 1 minute.
  9. Then add cooked rice, egg stripes, green peas, salt and pepper.
  10. Mix lightly. When completely heated, add soy sauceMix well.
