FRIED CASHEW NUTS

















INGREDIENTS

  • 250g raw cashew nuts
  • 2 big red onion, chopped
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 Tbsp red crushed chilies
  • 1 Tbsp Maldives fish
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 1 Tbsp Sri Lankan Chili sauce
  • Salt


METHOD

  1. Wash cashew and drain on paper towel.
  2. Cut onion into small pieces.
  3. In deep hot oil on medium heat, fry first cashew nuts and then onion separately until light golden brown.
  4. Drain on paper towel.
  5. In same oil fry crushed pepper, Maldives fish and curry leaves about 30 secondsDrain on paper towel.
  6. In a bowl put fried cashew, onion, and crushed pepper, curry leaves, Maldives fish, chili sauce and salt together and mix well.
